Psalm 49:9-11

⁹ That he should ^(A)live on eternally,
That he should not ^[a](B)undergo decay.

¹⁰ For he sees that even ^(C)wise men die;
The ^(D)stupid and the senseless alike perish
And ^(E)leave their wealth to others.
¹¹ Their ^[b](F)inner thought is that their houses ^(G)are forever
And their dwelling places to all generations;
They have ^(H)called their lands after their own names.
